Every year they put up this HUGE Christmas tree in the center of the fountain at the outdoor nearest out house. And they have a huge event the night they turn the lights on. This was last night, so we took the kids. They have a jazz band and carolers, the tree, an elves workshop where the kids can make crafts etc... We just missed the actual lighting, we heard them counting down as we were getting out of the cars, fortunately the kids don't care they just like the lights and the music....So we just checked out the tree for a while, then went and got the girls their first pair of real shoes, then walked around a little before getting an ice cream and going home. All in all a good night. Not too cold and everyone had a good time. And the girls got to walk around down there for the first time too.
