Happy Anniversary Remodel Granny & Pops

For their anniversary this year Pops decided to give Granny the gift of a fully remodeled bedroom/dressing area. Therefore, we and my brother and his wife finished it out. We put texture on the walls and ceiling (mom hates sheetrock dust and texturing prevents the need to sand hence no dust). Then we put of wainscoating, chair rails and baseboards, finished out all the doorways with new trim and rewired some lighting. It looks great! Jet really getting into it...

Monday Madness!!!

For about 2 hours tonight we were homeless... Here's a desolate Jet and Rogue wandering down the street looking for a new house that isn't "broken", how do I know they're desolate.. Rogue is willingly letting Jet hold her hand.

Wait, maybe not, here she goes off in search on someone to save the day, or some food, whatever, she's easily pleased

And wouldn't you know it, the one time the sisters tell us they have to potty there's no way to get to a bathroom in time!

They tried to go in the grass, but daddy wouldn't let them....

What you may ask caused this, we got home tonight from work only to find out that we were locked out of our house. Not because we both forgot our keys inside, but because the lock broke. When we finally got ahold of the landlord, he was of couse out of town! We had to call a locksmith to get us in and he eventually broke the door down. Then Andy had to repair the door frame and trim etc and install a new working deadbolt!

The kids thought it was a great adventure, until they got hungry so we had to run out and get some sandwiches and by the time we got home they had gotten the door open. So much for a relaxing evening!

Even Rogue joins the search party as she scans the water for sissy, or doin some magic trick.

Holy Cow there she is she is back from the depths. Even Nessy cant handle her ( watch out boys of the future not that i will ever let that happen).

I think she wants Nessy to come back and get her.

As for mommy well she was the first casualty of Perry Lake, Nessy tried to bring her back but i said he could keep her. But he insisted i take her back, I guess i do need someone to make dinners, wash the clothes, u know do the wife things. Like mother like daughter not even the monsters of the deep want these two.
