Rogue's a Crawler!

What mommy, I'm not doing anything....
But in fact she is
And she's off

My life as I know it is over. Jet runs constantly, Rogue is crawling and Harleigh is inch worming it along and will be following in her sister's hand and knee steps any day now!

6 Months!

I can't believe that it's been six months already! The girls are so big now. Harleigh weighs 15lbs 6oz and is 26 3/4" long and Rogue is 13lbs 14oz and 26" long. The are both eating stage 2 foods, rolling everywhere, talking, playing toys and enjoy reading books with us at bedtime.
At the doctor visit today he said we could start them on dissolvable table foods and work our way up from there, so with their dinner tonight they got a grahm cracker. I even think a little of it actually got in their mouths. They sleep through the night and have a pretty regular schedule so life is normal now. At least as normal as it gets with 3 children under the age of 4. They are so much fun the older they get. I'm so glad it's warm now and we can take them outside to play. They really like it, and I think they're going to love the pool!

Signs of the Future?

The girls sure look good in their uniforms,
And they really like to play with our gear,
Will Harleigh be a slugger like her daddy?

I wonder who they'll play for...

Happy Birthday Granny!

The Birthday "cupcake" that Pops and Uncle Jesse and Jet made for Granny. Jet had a good time with the sprinkles. (Doesn't Harleigh look dazed by all the candles) (Sorry Granny)

When you're as old as Granny is you get to have 2 cakes!
Harleigh conned Granny and Aunt Donna into giving her some of the ice cream cake also. Too bad for Rogue she slept through the whole party.
Daddy helping make the spaghetti dinner.
Granny and her babies....

Not only was it Memorial Day this weekend, my mom turned 81 (according to Jet). She' s aging wonderfully!

A Boy and His Sisters Version 2.0

Not so sure Jet would be excited to see Rogue playing with his little cars.

The bigger the girls get the more Jet likes to be able to play with them. Now he reads to them, plays trains and cars with them and most recently plays ball with them. He's doing great and getting so big, I can hardly believe how time flies from when he didn't like them at all to now.

Daddy and Jet's Night Out

With all the girl stuff we have going on now, daddy and Jet sometimes are a little overwhelmed. To escape all the estrogen, the went to WWE Raw when in was in Kemper Arena. Since only Daddy and Jet went, I have no photos of Jet there, but here are his favorite wrestlers, John Cena and Triple H and Shawn Michaels. They both had a great time, and there were even "shooting stars" (fireworks) for Jet to watch.

Happy Memorial Day

Jet's so excited the pool is ready to swim in again he forgot to put his swimsuit on
That Harleigh sure likes her feets
Jet pushing Aunt Donna into the pool
Rogue and her Pops taking a water break
Daddy's supposed to be playing with Harleigh, but he seems to have had other ideas in mind

This year for memorial day we went on a float trip to Noel, MO. The kids stayed with my parents. Everyone had a good time, though afterwards Granny and Pops needed some much deserved rest.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Daddy's Cake (Jet decided he was 825 years old!)
Harleigh decided to eat Daddy's rubber duckie the girsl got him since he wouldn't share his cake with her!
And Rogue went straight for the marshmallows Jet got Daddy as part of the smores they're going to make together when we go camping this summer
Daddy and Jet both like the new driver Granny and Pops got Andy...
Jet's really excited about it, but Daddy won't let him try it out....

Happy birthday Andy! You're another year older and wiser and all that. You also have 2 more kids and 1 less car this birthday that last birthday! I can't wait to see what your 27th year brings....love, your wife!
Daddy turned 27 today! (so did Aunt Betsy)

Happy Mother's Day

This year for Mother's day Jet and the girls made the gifts. Okay the girls just watched, but you know...Jet had a great time making them. And we had a great time spending the day with my mom and grandma! It was a nice and relaxing weekend, which was well needed for everyone. We did miss spending the day with Grandma Linda, but hope to make it up there soon!

Guess what it is Nanny, I'll give you a hint (it's a birdbath)

Nanny with Rogue, Harleigh and Jet

Granny and Jet with Granny's new birdhouse!

Jet's Garden

The final product
Getting the dirt ready
Jet's Dirt Hauler!

Seeing how much Jet enjoys his "garden" at our house made my mom decided to give him his own section in one of hers. He got to pick out the plants he wanted in it and Nanny even gave him a gnome to put in it!

Busy Weekend!

The kids testing out the tent
Jet's Lincoln Log House
Daddy working on the truck
Rogue and her Pops

We went to Granny and Pops house this weekend for many reasons....

1) we needed to pick up the Jimmy so I'd have something to drive to work until we get a replacement

2) It's Andy's Birthday

3) It's Mother's Day

4) We needed to get our camping gear out and make sure it was all still there (we're going on a float trip over memorial Day weekend! the kids are staying with my parents)

5) Andy needed to change the oil in the truck and rotate the tires

Movement!

Here's Harleigh, Rogue started out right next to her....
And this is where Rogue ended up...
Harleigh's closeup! She's so silly!
And Rogue just thinks this is hilarious!
However, Momma and Daddy are not ready for the extensive moving/crawling to begin. Don't get me wrong, I know they have to grow up, but do they have to do it so fast? It's only been 5 months!

Mommy goes to Chicago

Harleigh and Rogue's baby (Jet handed them out, mommy thought they should get the one that has the same hair color as the girls)
Jet's Hershey's Hat
Rogue with Harleigh's baby (she just loves to play with the hair, poor dolls are going to be bald!)
Jet and the legos!
So work sent me to Chicago Weds-Friday of last week for a bioassay development training course. Oh the excitement! The course was okay, but the 3 days in Chicago was better. I hadn't been in 5 years so it was pretty nice, and whose really going to complain when the airfare, hotel and food is free! So every night after class I walked around downtown seeing what there was to see on the miracle mile and of course looking of the perfect gifts for the kids since this is the first time I've been gone since I've had them! I walked to the hershey's store down by the water tower one day just to look and got Jet a paper hat (I know it's cool) And I was very good and didn't buy all the chocolate I saw, however, if we ever get to take Jet up there they had a machine where you could make your own chocolate gift that he would love to do! Anyway, I'm walking out of the store and what do I see across the square but the American Girl store. Now I'm not so into this so I thought I'd just go in a look, not planning on buying anything. Then of course, there were these signs for the bitty baby twins department, so I had to check it out! And then there were the twins that had a blonde and a brunette in very very cute tea party outfits in purple and green. And now we have the twins, but I was good and didn't get the extra outfits! (right?) So now the girls have baby dolls! and for Jet I found a Lego store, a little boy's heaven! and I was able to get him a set that we never see here in Kansas! What a successful trip!
