Nap Time

Guess what everyone in my house is doing right now??? Miss Rogue
Miss Harleigh
Mr Jet (He was entertaining his sisters before everyone fell asleep)
And even Daddy!

Playtime

It was a pretty quiet week for us. Not much going on. The kids just had time to have some quality playtime together... Jet really likes to play "jail" in which someone is trapped in the upside down laundry basket. The girls like to play as long as he is the one in jail!
Rogue still likes to play with the dolly Momma got her while she was at work in Chicago.
If my arm was just a little bit longer...

Again with the spaghetti...

This time at Granny and Pops house and without all the bodily fluids :) Harleigh loves it...
I swear she couldn't figure it out!
Of course, something that is good for a laugh at the sisters is good for a laugh at Jet (we're still working on the attention thing)
mmmm good
I'm stuffed!
This was probably the most exciting thing that happend at Granny and Pops this past weekend. We just hung out, Andy studied alot and changed the brakes and oil in the truck. We tried to take the kids on the train by the zoo, but it was closed already for the season. So instead we went and got halloween costumes!

What a night...

Last Wednesday night I made spaghetti for dinner. All of my kids love spaghetti !!!

See, I told you so.

Then all the kids helped me wash dishes
Then while I was washing dishes the girls thougth it would be fun to play with the tupperware. This is when the fun began. First I noticed Rogue fussing so I asked her what it was all about, then I noticed her slipping on the floor, why you ask....because someone threw up all over it and she was crawling in it!
So I ran her to the bathroom and her sister as well. I washed Rogue first as she was covered in it, then while I was getting her dried and dressed, Harleigh was still in the tub (I know I'm a bad mom for leaving her in there alone, but Jet was sitting right next to the tub and I was not more than 5 feet away) Anyway, after I finished dressing Rogue I went back to wash Harleigh and what do I notice, but that there is poop all over in the tub. Not just a little bit, but EVERYWHERE!!! So out she goes to get rinsed in the sink then I had to clean the tub and the sink. Then I had to wash Harleigh for real. Then I dried and dressed her and gave them both some milk. (All the while Jet is watching and being really good) Then I scrubbed the kitchen floor and finished the dishes and put the sisters to bed and gave Jet a bath, and got things ready for the next day.
Don't get me wrong I love all my kids dearly! I wouldn't change it for the world, but also don't let anyone fool you that 2 kids the same age is easy! It's not! Some days I wonder if I'll make it until their in school!

They act as if I don't ever feed them...

So the other night I went to get a drink of water and after filling my cup noticed the pitcher was almost empty. I just turned my back for a second to fill it and when I turned back what did I see??? The sisters had found their way to the fridge and were helping themselves to what was inside...
part of a leftover waffle that Jet had for breakfast and was saving for later...

Sorry bubba, your sisters got to it first!

Bikers for Babies

Today was Bikers for Babies. While we weren't in it, Jet wanted to watch all the "motorbikes." . There were hundreds to watch!
We looked for BJ, (Ty's daddy) but never saw him.
We watched from a parking lot of a hotel near the speedway where the event was being held
Daddy and Jet even got up close and personal with the bikes. They got lots of honks and waves and some of the guys even said they liked Jet's hair. He was super excited! So excited that him and Daddy stood and watched they go by for about an hour and a half!
The sisters watched from the warmth of the van. Then we went shopping and went back to pick up the boys when we were finished!

Cheesy Shells and Hamburger

So the girls had shells and cheese and hamburger and mixed fruit and beans for dinner last night...

The Beginning... They really enjoyed themselves during dinner
See, why else would Rogue have food everywhere! I mean check out her hair!
Harleigh too, again with the hair and look at that arm of hers..
The Middle....

Ah Bathtime!

The End

Where's the milk??? We're ready for bed!

Not such a busy week.

So with all the rain we've been getting lately there hasn't been much going on.
Jet and Ty got in a little monster truck time during a break in the rain
other than that he and daddy have been busy just being boys!

Ha Ha Sissy!

So Rogue and Harleigh were crawling around under the table the other day.... Harleigh is of course insistent on going the most difficult way possible through the room...

And Rogue showed her that sometimes being the little sister has it's advantages as she had no trouble getting through.

Jet goes to the Dentist!

Last Friday Jet went to his first Dentist appointment ever! The pediatrician said he just needed to go sometime this year before his 4th birthday. Mommy was pushing it a little, but she got him in time! Here he is sitting stark still in the chair. He didn't say a word until the very end when he got to pick out his stickers! He was so good through the brushing and the flossing and even the x-rays and fluoride treatment!! I think he was just terrified!
See what I mean?

Anyway, he has all his baby teeth and they all look great. No cavities for us! Hopefully he keeps it up! He also got to see his big boy teeth coming in behind his baby teeth. And in the end his favorite part of the trip, he got a new toothbrush, toothpaste, a pencil and stickers! Oh to be 3 again.

Monkey Business

So, Daddy got the girls a couple of monkeys..... Monkey!? What Monkey?

Rogue loves her monkey. She loves all things cuddly.
Harleigh's okay with the monkey's also, not as in love as Rogue, but they're a tolerable toy to her. Not as cool as her brother's tool set, but it'll do in a pinch!

Jet goes to Illinois

During Jet's trip to Illinois... He joined a rock band,
He read books with Aunt Betsy and Henry,
He got new shoes that match Daddy's, We went to dinner and he got to sit next to Da Daddie,

He also had lots and lots of fun playing with his cousins and helping Daddy fixing things around Grandma's house. He also got to fly a big toy plane at the park with Da Daddie and Uncle Paul. And he got to go inside a B17 Bomber. Of course Mommy doesn't have photos of this because her camera batteries died and she didn't realize it until it was too late!

Anyway, he had a great time and can't wait to go back.

Harleigh goes to Illinois

Here's Harleigh's Illinois happenings... She had a drink with sissy while waiting on Daddy to finish the oil change
She had a drink with her new cup with Ma Mommie
She helped wash the dishes
She had some fruity Cheerieos for a snack
And she helped Daddy do a little studying.

Rogue goes to Illinois

We went to Illinois for the Labor Day weekend...Here are a few shots of Rogue's happenings while we were there... She chased Grandma's cats
She snuggled with Ma Mommie
She played with her new cup
She tried to share Da Daddie's drinkand finally she took a nap with her dolly.
What a good trip. Rogue enjoyed seeing everyone!
